Frequently Asked Questions

Q.  Is Reiki a religion?

A.  Reiki is not a religion.  Reiki is a therapeutic healing modality that is compatible with any religion, spirituality or worldview.

Q.  How does Reiki affect conventional healthcare?

A.  Reiki is a complementary energy healing modality that works alongside any healthcare treatment you may be receiving.  It promotes healing and can help conventional treatments work better.  Reiki is used in hundreds of hospitals worldwide, often utilized in pre and post-surgery care.  To find out if a hospital near you offers Reiki services, contact them to see if they have an Alternative/Integrative Care Unit (or similar name).

Q.  I don't live near South Carolina.  Can I still receive a Reiki session?

A.  Yes!  I make house calls within a certain radius.  If you are interested in me coming to your residence for a Reiki session, please give me a call at 470.231-5432.  Reiki can also be given long-distance.  Remote sessions can be done via phone, text, or online via video chat.  I currently use Zoom for video sessions.  The process is essentially the same as an in-person session.  You will receive the same powerful healing benefits.

Q.  Can you do a Reiki session for my pet?

A.  Yes!  Animals love Reiki and receive tremendous healing benefits.  Most animals share the same Chakra system as humans.  Remote sessions can also be done for pets.  Feel free to call or email me if you have any questions prior to booking a session.

Q.  Do you take health insurance?

A.  Reiki is not typically covered by health insurance providers.  Therefore, I am unable to accept insurance.

Q.  What payment methods do you accept?

A.  I use Square to process online card payments.  Card payments can also be accepted in person, as well as cash and checks.  Cash App is also accepted.
